How and when did you get into yoga?
I found my way to yoga in 2006 when seeking ways to heal physically from dance injuries, and psycho-emotionally from PTSD. My practice became a place of refuge, and I haven’t looked back since!
What do you do in your spare time?
Yoga of course! ;). My passion is exploring my body through various movement modalities. I love to stretch, lift, climb and dance. I used to be very end-goal driven, but in recent years I’ve become obsessed with how I move through and handle processes, the spaces between.
I moved to Scandinavia to study a masters in Advanced Migration Studies. When I’m not moving I love reading anthropological ethnographies, especially about how people feel connected and create a sense of ‘home’.
What makes you happy?
Water. Good coffee. Good music. Connecting to myself and others. Oh, and laughing, I laugh a lot!
